Senior leaders rarely lack intelligence or ambition. What they sometimes lack is a thinking partner who has operated at the same level, in the same kind of environment, and can engage with the real complexity of what they are facing.

I work with CEOs and leadership teams in energy, infrastructure and regulated industries as a trusted advisor - helping them think more clearly, make better decisions and execute under pressure.

This is not consultancy. I don't produce reports or frameworks. I work alongside leadership teams on live challenges: strategic prioritisation, execution discipline, board dynamics, leadership alignment and decision-making in uncertain conditions.

Engagements typically run for three months initially, with most clients continuing beyond that. I take on a small number of advisory relationships at any one time.

I am available for a small number of NED appointments in energy, infrastructure and regulated industries.

I bring board-level experience as a former CEO and CFO, Global Executive Committee member, and current NED - combined with deep sector knowledge built over more than 20 years in the UK energy market.

My focus as a NED is on providing genuine strategic challenge, supporting management teams to perform at their best, and ensuring boards are asking the right questions - particularly around execution, commercial risk and leadership capability.

I am particularly interested in businesses navigating growth, transformation or ownership transition, and in boards that want a NED who understands operational reality as well as governance.

I offer executive coaching to senior leaders in energy, infrastructure and regulated industries - with a particular focus on leaders navigating significant transitions: stepping into CEO or CFO roles, taking on expanded board responsibility, or leading through periods of sustained complexity and pressure.

My coaching draws on my own experience as a former CEO alongside a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School. I combine rigorous challenge with genuine understanding of the environment my clients operate in.
